Drunk people

So I'm just going to say this once, I really don't like drunk people. Especially some of the ones down here. It seems like everyone who drinks too much just wants to pick fights with others who have t done a thing. Tonight we went down to a friends house, he had another guy there who was so drunk he could barely stand.  He was trying to pick fights with everyone in that house. He even pushed the guy who's house it is into his washer and then blamed him for everything.  They get so drunk that they black out and don't even remember anything the next day. It's irritating because they eventually hurt other people who aren't involved. I just had to get this out, I hate drunk people!!!

Arts and crafts

So for the past couple months I've been working on this blanket, I haven't gotten that far yet but it's coming along slowly. Our dog Max tore apart my favorite blue blanket beyond repair, I had a bunch of random shirts and things laying around so I decided to try something new. I cut up the blanket and my favorite parts of the shirts and sewed them together, most of it is by hand but a couple pieces I used the sewing machine my husband surprised me with. I even used part of a Barrett that was too small for my husband. It holds a lot of memories and parts of the shirts are from a summer camp I used to go to.

army life

SArmy life is hard for both of is, obviously me so for my husband who works his butt off to keep this country safe. But it also is hard for me. I'm home alone all day with no car so iclean the house and make sure all the laundry is done so he has uniforms for the next day. By the time he gets home is usually 16:30 - 17:00 then he's goes to the gym, he's usually there for afn hour and a half to three hours. Then it's dinner time and if I'm lucky a movie. Then it's bed just to so it again. The weekends are my only time to spend with him. However sometimes he has to to out to the field to do field problems and he will he will be gone from two days to two weeks. I already can't sleep good and the only sleep I get when he's gone is when I pass out from pure exhaustion. I'm not looking forward to him deploying for nine months without any r and r, but it's something he's looking forward to and I'm trying to be happy for him. Soldiers are soldiers 24/7 but the wives live the army life just as much. Theres a saying in the rmy, " army wife, the toughest job in the military " it's true because We have to make sure they have everything they need, and We take care of the house, pets, and kids. And We put up with everything husband's do. From drinking to the violent flashbacks they my get. Some flashbacks involve being physically harmed, not purposely but it does happen. Civilian wives have a tenancy to say that they know what We to through every day but I have to say, no you don't. Army life is so much more difficult. You have your hhusband's home with you most nights, We never know when our will be home, so please stop saying you do. Our lives are completely different then yours. It's a tough life but I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm proud to be the wife of an amazing husband and soldier.
